UK→Spain Removals operates under the British Association of Removers (BAR) Overseas Group standard contract.

Quotes

Written quotes are valid for thirty days from issue.

Booking and deposit

A booking is confirmed when you sign the quote and pay the deposit. Refundable up to fourteen days before scheduled collection. Deposits protected under the BAR Advance Payment Guarantee scheme.

Balance payment

The balance is due before the lorry leaves the UK.

Cancellation

More than fourteen days before scheduled collection: deposit refunded in full. Within fourteen days: charge equal to the deposit. Within seventy-two hours: deposit plus reasonable costs already committed.

Insurance

All-risks goods-in-transit cover included. Certificate accompanies the written quote.

Claims

Claims must be reported in writing within seven days of delivery.

Customs paperwork

We file UK-end customs (EORI, ToR1, HMRC C1331) and the Spanish aduanas filing on your behalf.

Items we cannot move

Live plants and animals, perishable food, hazardous materials, items prohibited under UK or Spanish customs law.

Disputes

Disputes are referred to the BAR Overseas Group dispute-resolution scheme.
